Who Should Attend: This tutorial is designed for reserves evaluators, members of Corporate Reserves Committees, CEOs, and those signing the Corporate Representation Letters and Engagements Letters.

 

Tutorial Description: This tutorial will provide a review of the old and new regulations with areas of change being identified and analyzed. The impact of the National Instrument revisions will be clearly identified and examples of the changes will be used to illustrate and quantify the impact. The new Canadian Oil and Gas Evaluation Handbook (COGEH) will be used to illustrate the changes in methodology and reserves definitions.

 

Instructor/s: Colin Outtrim is a Senior Vice President of DeGolyer and MacNaughton Canada. He has over 30 years of industry experience with over 25 years of international and domestic consulting services in 24 countries. Mr. Outtrim has been the project leader on several international evaluations in conjunction with the World Bank and serves the evaluation needs of approximately 200 clients in Western Canada and the United States.
